Liberia: New Circuit Court Dedicated in Bong

The Ninth Judicial Circuit Court facilities at the Gbarnga Regional Justice and Security Hub have been officially dedicated by Internal Affairs Minister Morris Dukuly. The court's complex at the Hub comprises of forty rooms, including residential quarters for judges, County Attorney and staff of his office, as well as some important judicial actors in the county. The Gbarnga Magisterial court also has a space to execute its mandate.

At the official opening of the modern facilities, Internal Affairs Minister Morris Dukuly, who proxied for President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, described the construction of the court complex as a big boost to the judiciary. Minister Dukuly said the dedication was indicative of the commitment of the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf administration to transforming the judiciary, making it people-centered.
