Nigeria: Group Chides Okorocha Over APC Chairman's Resignation

Owerri — A socio-political group, South East Progressives Assembly (SEPA), has berated Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha of Imo State over alleged highhandedness and imposition of party executive, which resulted to the shocking resignation of Prince Marshal Okaforanyanwu as a member and interim state chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State.

The former APC chieftain had upon his resignation accused the governor of exhibiting highhandedness, impunity, imposition of party executive members, starving the funds and usurping party functions thus making the party unpopular in the state.
