Nigeria: W'Cup - Why Keshi May Not Invite Ike Uche - NFF

Facts are beginning to emerge as to why Super Eagles Head Coach, Stephen Keshi may not include Villareal striker, Ike Uche in his provisional World Cup list expected to be released on May 6, 2014.

A member of the Nigeria Football Federation Technical Committee, who spoke on condition of anonymity said during the week that the player's refusal to apologise to the coach for whatever offences alleged committed by him was why he may bid the World Cup bye.

"You know some people are principled, some stoop to conquer," said the technical committee member.

"Those who stoop to conquer will say is it not to say sorry and move on? In this case the young man (Ike Uche) has refused to apologise unlike other players who apologised to the coach.

"That is the situation ," the source added.
