Angola's Support for Namibia Liberation Highlighted

Windhoek — The Angolan minister of Ex-Combatants and Veterans of the Motherland, Cândido Van-Dúnem, said Friday in Windhoek that the proclamation of Angola?s independence in 1975 paved the way for logistic support that led to the Namibia?s self-determination and independence.

The official was speaking on behalf of the Angolan Government, during the ceremony of handover of the five coffins containing the remains of five ex-fighters of the South West Africa People Organisation (SWAPO) who fell in the Angolan territory during their country's liberation struggle.
