Angola: Government Urged to Adopt Policies to Fight Unemployment

Ndalatando — The Trade Union of the northern Cuanza Norte province has urged the Government to adopt more inclusive and transparent policies to combat poverty and unemployment.

The appeal was launched Thursday by the provincial secretary of Trade Union, josé Fernandes Matias in Lauca locality, Cambambe district.

Addressing the celebration event marking the International Workers' Day, on May 1, the unionist

also spoke of the urgent need to combat corruption and traffic of influence.

According to him, this initiative will ensure consolidation of the nation, balance and opportunity for all in political, economic and social fields.

The event was preceded by the swearing in ceremony of the first managing board of trade union commission of workers of the Lauca Dam, attached to UNTA - CS.
