Angola: Over 20,000 Workers Mark May 1 in Huambo

Huambo — More than 20,000 workers from public and private sector celebrated Thursday, May 1, the International Workers' day in central Huambo province.

The workers stressed the Government's commitment to continued construction and reconstruction process of economic and social projects.

The participants also hailed the construction of the new urban towns and other undertakings.

The event was marked by the reading of statement by the local chairperson of the trade union of Education, Culture, Sports and Media
