Nigeria: Ekiti PDP Chieftain Dumps Party for APC

Ado-Ekiti — A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State and former state's deputy speaker, Taiwo Olatunbosun, has dumped his former Boss, Ayo Fayose, and the PDP for the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying APC holds a brighter future for the state.

The former deputy speaker and then, Fayose's right-hand man, who stood in for the ex-governor as acting governor whenever he traveled abroad, said his decision to defect from the PDP was borne out of his acknowledgment of Governor Fayemi's strides in the state.
