There was pandemonium yesterday at the Edo State House of Assembly following sporadic gunshots from a police escort said to be attached to a lawmaker. This development heightened the already charged political atmosphere between lawmakers loyal to Governor Adams Oshiomhole and the former All Progressives Congress(APC), leader, Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu.
The shooting incident, LEADERSHIP learnt, forced some lawmakers who had just risen from plenary to vacate the assembly premises in apparent fear.
