Nigeria: One Year After Ombatse Killings - Widows Demand Corpses of Slain Police Officers

One year after at least 65 security operatives were killed in a battle with the Ombatse cult in Alakyo Village in Nasarawa State, some of the widows have neither received the corpses nor the benefits due to the slain security operatives.

On Wednesday, about 50 widows staged a protest in Akwanga Local Government Area of the State demanding the release of the corpses of their husbands.
