Vodacom Tanzania has ordered an energy Centre from Flexenclosure which will help power the mobile operator's main switching centre in the capital Dar es Salaam. The move follows the destruction of Vodacom's Tanzania energy centre last year by fire,
The deal - estimated to be worth millions of dollars - was was signed between Vodacom Tanzania and Flexenclosure for the deployment of a custom-designed and fully configured energy centre. It will be deployed in July at Vodacom Tanzania's main switching centre in the Kwale district of the capital Dar es Salaam in Tanzania.
