Nigeria: Plateau Women Join Protest

Jos — Women in Jos, the state capital of Plateau State, also staged a peaceful protest to demand rescue of the over 200 abducted girls.

The protesters, made up of Christians and Muslims marched from the Old Airport Junction in the city to the deputy governor's office at Rayfield, where they presented a letter signed by Pastor Esther Ibanga of Women Without Walls Initiative, Haj. Khadija Gambo Hawaja of Muslim Women Peace Forum and Mrs. Elizabeth Rindams of Christian Women for Excellence and Empowerment in Nigerian Society.
