Angola: Benguela Railways Suspends Train Circulation in Luena-Cuito Route

Luena — The circulation of trains of the Benguela Railways (CFB), in route between Luena (Moxico) and Cuito (Bié) and vice-versa was suspended n the period of 18 May and 30 June this year, due to technical issues, says a press note from the company that reached Angop on Saturday in Luena.

According to the note, during 44 days, the company in charge of repairing the railway "China Ferrovia-CR-20" will carry out maintenance works in the referred route.

The note states that the provincial department for Transports, Telecommunication and Information Technology of Moxico, quotes the warning of the Board of Directors of CFB, which orients the suspension and calls for the understanding of its clients for the constraints.
