Liberia: Jindal Steel and Power Opens 810 MW Captive Plants

Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) has commissioned a captive power plant of 810 megawatt (MW) at Angul in Odisha. The company is setting up a steel project of six million tonnes a year at Angul. JSPL intends to produce sponge iron using synthesis gas.
