Kenya: High Court Orders Governor Kidero Not to Sack Ondieki

The High Court has ordered Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero not to sack Nairobi county Transport Evans Ondieki.

Ondieki will not be sacked even if the County Assembly votes for his removal its session on Tuesday. The court halted Ondieki's removal pending the hearing and determination of a case in which the transport executive has asked the court to declare a motion to impeach him null and void. A hearing has been scheduled for May 16.
