Kenya: U.S to Build Solar Plant

Eldoret Solar Airfiled Lighting System Company from the US is set to build a multi-billion shilling solar energy plant. Company president David Shemwell, during the tour of Uasin Gishu on Friday, said the project will cut electricity costs.
Trade executive Philip Melly said they spend close to Sh1.2billion monthly in electricity bills.
