Nigeria: Chibok - Israel Sends Counter-Terrorism Team to Nigeria

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised to send a team of Israeli counter-terrorism experts Nigeria to assist in the ongoing search and rescue of the abducted schoolgirls of Chibok, Borno State. Presidential spokesman, Reuben Abati, in a statement, said Netanyahu made the promise yesterday when he called President Goodluck Jonathan to convey his country's solidarity with Nigeria.

Abati quoted Netanyahu as saying that the team from his country would soon arrive in Nigeria and would work in collaboration with teams from the United States and Britain who are already in the country and their Nigerian counterparts to intensify the search for the girls.
