Gombe — Alhaji Umar Abdullahi is a chieftain of the PDP in Gombe State. In this interview with our correspondent, he traces the history of the formation of the PDP in Gombe and refutes claim that the party can be uprooted in the state in the next general elections. Excerpts:

Former governor, Goje, has publically apologized to the people of Gombe for bringing Dankwambo to power in 2011. What is your reaction to that?
