Anthony Russell, who was born and raised in Kenya and the UK, is an artist, designer, musician, and most of all, a keen conservationist with a passion for lions and the Maasai culture. Last Thursday he unveiled his latest exhibition at the Capital Club in Nairobi.
The art work on show was meant to honour the African continent and capture the audience and open their eye to the beauty of Africa. Alongside the opening was a silent auction where 100 per cent of the silent auction pieces plus ten per cent of any sale made on the day was to benefit the Amu and Shampole lion's ranch.
