MOMBASA county majority leader Khamis Mwabashiri has been criticised for saying he will sponsor a bill to bar some people from vying for elective positions in the county.
Mwabashiri was speaking outside the assembly buildings on Monday after a special sitting for five Cord senators. "As the Mombasa county assembly, we have a huge mandate. We will soon present a bill in the assembly to bar some people from vying in Mombasa,"Mwabashiri said.
