Nigeria: Dankwambo Calls for Intensified Action Against Malaria

Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has called on stakeholders for a more intensified effort in the fight to see that the scourge of malaria is wiped out by the year 2015.

In a speech through his commissioner of Information and Orientation, Reverend Habu Dawaki during the occasion marking the 2014 World Malaria Day, the Governor said the scourge of malaria disease has been drastically reduced through collective efforts of World Development Partners, governments and other non-governmental organisations including individuals, saying such effort must be intensified so as to meet the Melinium Development Goals target of 2015.
