Angola: Head of State Discusses Cooperation With PCT Secretary General

Luanda — The Angolan head of State , José Eduardo dos Santos, Wednesday in Luanda received in audience the secretary general of the Congolese Labour Party (PCT), Pierre Ngolo, with whom discussed matters concerning friendship and cooperation between the two countries at party level.

Speaking to the press at the end of the audience, Pierre Ngolo, who is at the head of a delegation of his party, said that the visit aimed to get some wise advices from the Angolan president, President José Eduardo dos Santos, as the leader of the Angolan ruling MPLA party. "We received wise advices from the Angolan head of State , who expressed the wish to have the relations of cooperation between MPLA and PCT reinforced, with a view to good progress between our countries", said the Congolese official. Pierre Ngolo is in Luanda since Tuesday also for an exchange of experience with his ruling MPLA party counterpart, Julião Mateus Paulo "Dino Matrosse". The audience also served for the visiting official to convey a message from Congo president, Denis Sassou Guesso, to his Angolan counterpart. On the other hand, the ruling MPLA party's general secretary, Dino Matrosse, who attended the audience, described as "good and fraternal" the relations of friendship and cooperation with PCT.
