Liberia: PUL President Emeritus Opens up On Ellen's U.S.$100,000 Gift

The president emeritus of the Press Union of Liberia (PUL), Peter Quaqua has disproved what he terms as misleading assertions made by a commissioner of the Liberia Anti Corruption Commission (LACC), then Director of the Catholic Justice and Peace Commission (JPC), Augustine Toe.

Cllr. Toe's May 13 statement captured on the Truth Breakfast Show to which Mr. Quaqua now rebuts stated that "the PUL went to court to cancel the contract but its lawyer was sluggish and did not file a response to its returns of the contractor."
