Angola: Banks Invited to Grant Loans to Farmers of Dombe-Grande

Baía Farta — The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Afonso Pedro Canga, invited on Friday banks to grant credit to farmers of Dombe Grande commune, central Benguela province, due to the production capacity and agricultural potential of the region.

The minister said to the media after paying a visit to Dombe Grande commune.

The official considered important to convince the banks about the potentials, level of organisation and responsibility shown by the local farmers, so that credits are granted.

Pedro Canga urged the farmers to promote field trips with the banks to reduce mistrust.

So, the minister announced the opening in coming days of an Office f Technical Support in Dombe Grande commune, aimed to provide information about the level and quality of the production.
