Kenya: Muite to Handle Malili Ranch Case

Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko has appointed lawyer Paul Muite to handle the Malili Ranch fraud allegations. In a statement to newsrooms yesterday, Tobiko tasked Muite with reviewing the file and earlier decisions made by the DPP in related matters.

"Muite will advice whether sufficient evidence is disclosed to prosecute the suspects (or any of them) or any other person named in the present file," Tobiko said. The 5,000 acres were bought by the national government at Sh1 billion for the construction of Konza Technocity.
