THE Kenya Red Cross Mombasa branch has partnered with health workers from the Port Reitz Hospital to reduce disease outbreaks. Mombasa branch coordinator Mohamed Rajab said they have come up with intervention programmes following the ongoing heavy rains.
He was speaking at the Red Cross office Mombasa town yesterday. Rajab said the agency has been spraying stagnant waters and educating residents on the importance of clearing bushes around their homes.
