COVERING more than 55,000 square kilometres, Selous Game Reserve, which is located 350 kilometres south of Dar es Salaam, is believed to be the largest animal sanctuary in the world.
The game reserve has one of the largest diversity animals, but the largest group in population comprises antelopes which are divided into more than fifteen subspecies and the kob is a genus which has three subspecies dwelling in Selous.
