Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe State at the weekend appealed to abductors of the Chibok girls to release them.
Dankwambo, who made the appeal during the launch of a group, "Talba-Neighbour-to Neighbour", said: "On behalf of the government and people of Gombe State, I call on those who took the Chibok girls to release them. The girls are innocent; they should be released and the abductors should come out and dialogue".
