Egypt: PEC - Expatriate Vote Hit 230,000

Member of the Secretariat of the Presidential Election Committee and the General Committee following up the vote of Egyptians abroad, Dr Tariq Shebl announced that the number of voters abroad hit 230,000 so far.

Meanwhile, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Badr Abdel Aati said that preliminary indicators for the vote of Egyptians abroad in the presidential election show that the number of voters until 10:00 pm on Saturday, Cairo time, reached 228,000, which is more than double the number of voters in the referendum on the constitution of 2014.
