Nigeria: Workers of Osun Tertiary Institutions Vow to Continue Strike

Osogbo — Striking academic and non-academic staff of the four tertiary institutions owned by the Osun State Government have vowed to continue with their two-month old industrial action on the ground that their demands are yet to be met by the government.

The state government had last Friday, in a public broadcast on both the state radio and television, directed all striking staff of the affected institutions to go back to work today, Monday 19, 2014 for normal academic activities in the institutions.
