Somalia: MP Calls On Kenyan Gov't to Stop Mistreatment of Somalis

Mohamed Omar Dalha, a Member of Parliament and the Deputy Chairman for the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee reported to Shabelle and spoke of the horrendous news that ethnic Somalis are stranded at Jomo Kenyatta airport in Nairobi.

Mr. Dalha said that the Kenyan government should respect the rights of the Somali citizens whilst conducting their anti-terror operations in their country.

"I am very sad to hear of this news, and I condemn the mistreatment of our citizens in Kenya." He said

Almost 100 Somalis are reported to be struggling at Nairobi's main airport.
