Nigeria: Shagaya Seeks Disqualification of Plateau APC Chairman

Jos — Former interim chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, General John Shagaya, has asked the interim national chairman of the party, Chief Bisi Akande to disqualify the newly elected state chairman of the party, Letep Dabang saying he is not qualified to contest as state chairman of the party.

Shagaya in a letter addressed to the APC interim national chairman, ahead of the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party, alleged that Dabang alongside Jock Alamba, the party's national ex officio had been indicted by a committee of the party.
