ZIMBABWE received some bad news ahead of the return leg of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against the national soccer team, Taifa Stars, after key striker Matthew Rusike ruled himself out of the game because of a hamstring strain.
Coach Ian Gorowa conceded that Rusike's unavailability was another blow, but remained confident that the players he will have in camp will deliver. "What I observed in Tanzania was that we needed someone who could run at their defence and it's a pity that Simba Sithole could not make it because he does that role perfectly and keeps the defence busy," said Gorowa.
