Nigeria: Analysts Insist Transfer of N305 Billion Police Pension Is Suspicious, Illegal

Lagos — Financial analysts have insisted that moving the N305 billion pension savings of the men and officers of Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to the proposed NPF Pensions Limited would contravene the Pension Reform Act, 2004.

The analysts argued that given the history of the fraud associated with police pensions, the N305 billion savings currently being managed by existing Pension Fund Administrators(PFAs) should not be moved to a new PFA to be known as NPF Pensions Limited.
