Egypt: One Killed, Three Injured in Fayoum Clashes

Cairo — A 19-year-old young man was killed and three others were injured on Friday in Fayoum, said Medhat Shoukry, a Health Ministry undersecretary.

Omar Emad was shot dead in the head and three others were hurt after clashes broke out between security forces and Muslim Brotherhood supporters in Fayoum, Shoukry told Aswat Masriya.

One of the injured is a seven-year-old boy.

The clashes broke out when police forces attempted to disband a pro-Brotherhood march on al-Dali Street in the Goun neighbourhood, an eyewitness reported.
