Angola: Infrastructure Projects Set for 2015 - Minister

Uige The infrastructure projects of the first Industrial zone based in the northern Uige province are set to start in 2015, said the Industry minister, Bernarda Gonçalves Marins Henriques da Silva.

The minister announced this Friday, stressing that the zone will house the first

industrial units in the region.

The official was speaking to the press at the end of her visit to the region aimed at

assessing the local industrial sector.

Bernarda da Silva confirmed that preparations are in progress for the start of the first Industrial infrastructure in 2015 in Negage municipality, Uige province.

The first projects is expected to cover an area of 500,000 hectares.
