Egypt: Cabinet Reviews Interior Ministry Efforts to Restore Security, Stability

Egypt's Cabinet under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab reviewed on Thursday Interior Ministry's efforts to restore security and stability as well as combating terrorism and fundamentalism.

The ministers also reviewed Interior Ministry's recent successful operations that resulted in arresting a number of terror cells.

The cabinet also reassured the ministry's readiness to secure presidential election process in coordination with the Armed Forces.

Meanwhile, Mahlab thanked Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy and his ministry staff for their efforts during the presidential election process for Egyptians abroad.
