Nigeria: UN to Provide Trauma Care for the Chibok Girls, Families

The Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Dr Babatunde Osotimehin has pledged the support of the UN agency to provide trauma assistance to the abducted girls and their families when they are returned.

In a statement on the Chibok girls, the executive director said that the UNFPA as a point of duty would try to fully reintegrate the girls into their community, once they are back within their families, and to provide for their wellbeing.
