A parent who says her child was flogged and permanently injured by two teachers of Sir Apollo Kaggwa primary school has sued for Shs 160m.
Lilah Babirye has filed a suit in the High court, complaining that her son Naswif Katongole has been out of school for two years as a result. In the suit filed on May 14, Babirye states that in September 2011, two teachers, Joseph Owino and Grace Lumu, assaulted Katongole.
