Somalia: Puntland President Goes Out On Trip to Faraway Vicinities

Garowe — The President of Somalia's Puntland Government Dr. Abdiweli Mohamed Ali Gaas has gone out on trip to faraway vicinities in Bari region on Tuesday, Garowe Online reports. President Gaas' delegation including Minister of Interior Ahmed Elmi Osman (Ahmed Karash), Finance Minister Shire Haji Farah, Aviation Minister Hassan Adde and presidential officials departed Karkaar regional capital of Qardo for Rako Raho, Xiriiro and the historic town of Isku SHuban in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

He made his first stop in Rako Raho town which is situated 85km from Qardo, holding discussions on the domestic needs with community and traditional leaders. Before arriving at Puntland Marine Forces base in Isku Shuban, the Governor of Bari region Abdisamad Mohamed Galan and cheering crowds received Puntland President's delegation at nearby Hiriiro village.
