As a parent, have you ever found yourself in a situation where you say one thing to the children, and then have your spouse come in and say something contradictory?

For example, when a mother lays down rules that the children must be asleep by latest 7.30pm on a school night, but then on the day that she is not around, their father allows them to watch television until 9pm? Or when the child has disobeyed, and the father rules that the child should not be allowed to ride his bike for a week, but then the mother secretly allows him to ride it when dad is not around?
