Liberia, EU Sign Trade Deal
By Varney M. Kamara
The Liberian Government and the European Union Thursday signed a multilateral trade agreement aimed at ensuring that resources from the Liberian forestry sector benefit the entire citizenry.
Though the monetary value of the agreement was not immediately disclosed, the deal is expected to span for many years during which illegal forestry activities will drastically reduced while significant improvement is expected in the management of forestry resources in Liberia.
