Angola: Former Secretary of State Welcomes Athletes Homage

Luanda — The homage to men and women of the national sports and particularly of the handball shows a great sense of opportunity on the part of the Angola Handball Federation (FAAND), according to former Secretary of State for Sports, Rui Mingas.

Rui Mingas who was speaking on Friday in Luanda during a gala held by FAAND to honour former handball players, stated that all recognition is always welcome, especially the people in question are still alive.

"This homage has come in the right time to recognise some people that in the past contributed to what is the sport today," he stated.
