Morocco: HM the King Leaves Morocco Heading for Tunisia

Rabat — HM King Mohammed VI, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, left on Friday Morocco heading for Tunisia for an official visit at the invitation of President Mohamed Moncef Marzouki.

At the Rabat-Salé airport, HM the King was seen off by head of government Abdelilah Benkirane, speaker of the house of representatives Rachid Talbi El Alami, speaker of the house of advisors Mohamed Sheikh Biadillah and minister delegate to the interior minister Charki Drais.

HM the King was also seen off by General Abdelaziz Bennani, inspector general of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and commander of the southern zone, Lieutenant General Hosni Benslimane, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, Air major general Ahmed Boutaleb, Inspector of the Royal Air Forces, vice-admiral Mohamed Laghmari, inspector of the Royal Marine and brigadier general Hassan Taik, Inspector of auxiliary forces (northern zone).

The sovereign was also seen off by Bouchaib Rmil, Director General of the National Police, Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of Territorial Surveillance, chargé d'affaires of the Tunisian embassy in Rabat Hachimi Agili, Wali of the region of Rabat -Salé- Zemmour-Zaer, governor of the prefecture of Rabat, Abdelouafi Laftit, president of the region's council Abdelkébir Berkia, and governor of the Salé prefecture Mustapha El Kheidri, as well as civil and military figures.

HM the King is accompanied during this visit by an important delegation including mainly HM the King's advisors Taib Fassi Fihri, Fouad Ali El Himma, Yassir Znagui and Abdeltif Menouni.

The delegation includes also Interior minister Mohamed Hassad, Foreign minister Salaheddine Mezouar, minister of Endowments and Islamic affairs Ahmed Toufiq, Economy minister Mohamed Boussaid, minister of national education and vocational training Rachid Belmokhtar, minister of higher education, scientific research and executives' training Lahcen Daoudi, equipment, transportation and logistics minister Aziz Rebbah, industry, trade, investment and digital economy minister Moulay Hafid Elalamy, health minister El Houceine El Ouardi, minister of tourism Lahcen Haddad, minister delegate to the head of government, in charge of civil service and administration modernization Mohamed Moubdie, minister delegate to the minister of energy, mining, water and environment, in charge of the environment Hakima El Haite.

HM the King is accompanied is also accompanied by a delegation of officials and economic operators representing the public and private sectors, as well as other civil and military figures.
