Egypt: Antiquities Minister Visits Salahedin Citadel

Antiquities Minister Mohamed Ibrahim paid a surprise visit, his third in this week, to Salahedin Citadel in Cairo to follow up the ongoing restoration works there.

The Minister stressed the need of completing the final phase of the restoration project no later than June 8.

Within the framework of a program to restore and preserve all archaeological sites in Egypt, the Ministry of Antiquities has launched a project to restore Salahedin Citadel.
