Egypt: Mansour Committed to Presidential Term of Newly Elected President - Adviser

Ali Awad Saleh, the constitutional adviser to interim president Adly Mansour, said that president Mansour is committed to the start of the presidential term of the new president-elect, once the elections results are officially announced as the constitution stipulates.

He denied reports on postponing handing over power till preparing the laws regulating the exercise of political powers and performance of the House of Representatives.

"President Mansour will not delay the swearing-in of the new president elect before the Supreme Constitutional Court," said Saleh.
