Gamtel Football Club finally taste defeat in the domestic Football Association Cup competition after its five-year unbeaten run came to an abrupt end with a narrow 1-0 defeat by Wallidan at the KG5 mini-stadium in Banjul on Saturday.
The win ensured the newly promoted Wallidan book their place in the quarterfinals of the competition and joined Interior, Brikama United, Gambia Ports Authority, Lamin United, Banjul United, Hawks and Young Africans in the last eight.
