Warri — Many of his friends describe him as an "uncommon" legislator. Since 1999 when the nation broke away from the military vice-like grip of governance and embraced democracy ,Basil Okolobaowei Ganagana has maintained his seat in the hallowed chamber of the Delta State legislature.

His rise from obscurity as a greyhound politician to become a number four citizen of the state could best be described as meteoric , eventful and legendary.
