Nigeria: Danagogo Deplores State of National Stadium Facilities

As is traditional with every sports minister appointed in recent times, the new Sports Minister, Dr Tamuno Danagogo visited the national stadium Lagos yesterday and was startled by what he saw of the state of facilities in the complex.

Addressing sports journalists after a fact-finding tour of the sports city which was followed by a meeting with staff of the National Sports Commission, the minister said, the poor state of facilities at the national stadium was unacceptable and that everything would be done to rectify the situation.
