Kenya: Tolgos Asks Residents for Varsity Land

ELGEYO Marakwet Governor Alex Tolgos has appealed to residents to donate 1,000 acres plot for construction of a university in the county. He said the Commission of Higher Education has given the county government the go-ahead to establish a university.

Tolgos said the Commission for Revenue Allocation assured the county that it will allocate money to build the University. He said education stakeholders met the two commissions to discuss the need to put up the first university in the county.
