The Kenyan government announced a 24-hour curfew in Wajir following days of inter-clan clashes that left a teenager seriously wounded on Monday (June 2nd), Kenya's Daily Nation reported.
The curfew is intended to prevent further attacks, said Wajir County Commissioner Naftali Mung'athia, who announced the dawn-to-dusk restriction on movement.
